Poetic Obituaries: As a lover of art and music, Rod [Clarke]

was a longtime member of both the Art Guild of Pacifica and the Pacifica Spindrift Players where he directed several plays.

He was a skilled pianist, but his true calling was always poetry. Rod published six volumes of poetry throughout his life and in 2003 was named Poet Laureate of Pacifica. He continued to write poetry until just weeks before his death, so included below is one of his recent poems on that subject.
