Poetic Obituaries: [Lorie Pope Pauly] served as director

of volunteer services and chaplain for the Citrus Valley Hospice for 11 years, beginning from its inception in 1979.

Her interest in poetry began shortly after her first husband Robert Stuart Pope, Jr. died in 1988.

Since then, more than 500 of her poems have been published, including her weekly submissions to the San Gabriel Valley Examiner.
