Great Regulars: We all know the Italian Renaissance produced some

of Western civilization’s most supreme artistic geniuses, but why did so many of them blossom in a single city--Florence--which at the time was about the size of UConn’s main campus at Storrs? For me, the answer lies in the mystery of the creative energy of the sublime. I’m not exactly sure what makes up this energy, but I do know it has a natural force which can be felt in spiritual vibrations.
