degree from the University of Arizona and went on to the University of Southern California where she received her graduate degree in education. Regan was a writer of romance novels and an avid reader. She had more than 20 romance novels published by Harlequin Romance Books. Regan also wrote poetry, short stories and other novels. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Hawaii and Tucson, Ariz. Most recently, Regan volunteered as a writing mentor for the Brown County school program.
