led her [Maxine Benge Lovell] to enrolling in the Marion General Hospital School of Nursing and she soon became known as "Doctor Mom" to her family.
Her passion was her home and every holiday season of the year from Christmas to Easter to Halloween was an excuse to bring out the decorations and make every room look like a page from Better Homes and Gardens.
Maxine was always busy and loved writing poetry on many subjects to the delight of family and friends.
