Twm Morys announced Dewi 'Pws' Morris' appointment on stage at the Urdd Gobaith Cymru National Eisteddfod in Ceredigion. The new poet laureate, originally from Treboeth in Swansea, is a well-known actor, singer, author, bard and TV presenter.
He will take the role for a year.
