Great Regulars: In "Bittersweet Garden,"

open-mike poet Mano Mitsui has chosen the emotionally charged theme of father-son relationships: the words each longs to hear from the other; the words each longs to say--yet all too often the words are left unuttered: "I didn't always express my love or my pride./I felt it, you know, but I kept it inside." Mano explained, "This walk in the garden never took place, though I wish it had. My father died on Aug. 26 of congestive heart failure."
