at FLC for 31 years, specializing in creative writing, mythology, William Shakespeare and the Bible as literature. He edited the Rocky Mountain Literary Review and was a regular at poetry readings at Maria's Bookshop. He helped found the school's Peace Park and a speech he gave there inspired the Peace and Conflict Studies program.
He won Fort Lewis' Alice Admire Outstanding Teacher Award in 1994.
