Poetic Obituaries: Jacqueline Cecilia Baxter, a highly respected

short story writer, poet and the wife of one of New Zealand's greatest poets, the late James K. Baxter, has died in Wellington. She was 82.

Also known as J.C. Sturm and J.C. Baxter, she became one of the country's first published Maori women writers.
