Great Regulars: [Malcolm] Tucker would have gone into meltdown

had he been present during a recent newspaper interview with Gordon Brown, conducted on a train, where the PM apparently displayed his passion for poetry by yelling out his favourite quotes from Keats. Antonia Fraser verifies this, saying he knows his stuff, and Brown fondly recalls meeting poet Hugh MacDiarmid when he was a student at Edinburgh University at a launch for Fraser's anthology of Scottish love poetry.
