newspapers in Byron and Dodge Center in 1980, and then went on to a successful career in real estate as an agent and broker in Rochester. The diagnosis of Parkinson's forced her retirement in the early '90s, but she continued to write. She was a published author of fiction and children's books, and also wrote poetry, music, and painted.
