to Europe with the Pueblo Symphony Chorale. On some trips, she taught spirituals to German musicians."She was an expert on spirituals," said her daughter Linda Young of Pueblo.
Arwood loved opera and some other kinds of music "but not country Western," Young said. "We knew where she stood on that."
Arwood also loved poetry and wrote a book of poetry called "Let Living Be My Song."
