and received "The Golden Poet Award" and was also a beautiful vocalist, singing in the Unity Choir and various voice competitions. Upon Carls return to Michigan he has given much of his time to help people in need. He raised many thousands of dollars for the Salvation Army here in Brighton. You may have heard him, he was the jolly, gentle man with the beautiful spiritual voice.
