Poetic Obituaries: Al Groh's writing has ended,

but his poetry lives on.

[Alfred S.] Groh, a college professor, co-founder of the annual Fine Arts Fiesta and a champion of the arts known for his poetry, died Monday at the age of 92.

"His legacy is that the fiesta he created 58 years ago is still going strong," said Brian Benedetti, executive director of the Fiesta. "He took time out of his busy schedule and life to create something that has been a benefit to the entire community."
