ultimately a far more important and original a poet than R.S. [Thomas].Genuinely new poetic styles, as opposed to new 'voices', are very rare, perhaps only a dozen in the last century. But Dylan indisputably created one of them.
It was an astonishing achievement, still palpably fizzing in a line like: "The force that through the green fuse drives the flower drives my green age".
