Dear Poetry Aficionados,
Poetry & Poets in Rags blog
It sure is National Poetry Month or, as Judith Fitzgerald refers to it in her column, Planetary Poetry Month. We begin with articles and series of articles which contain poems. And as Judith refers to what is going on at the Globe and Mail, it is a Planetary extravaganza, this Cosmic Poetry Week.
In News at Eleven, we begin with a series of poems in the Philadelphia Inquirer, followed by an award winning poem from The Guardian and an article about it, then poems from New West, then another poem from The Guardian with an article about it too, followed by poetry in the Seattle Times, and that followed by poetry from the Chicago Sun Times.
That is an abstract of the first six items out of dozens in this issue of Poetry & Poets in Rags. I'd better let you get to your reading.
Thanks for surfing by.
Yours,
Rus
