News at Eleven: [Rabindranath Tagore's] daughter-in-law has left behind

an account of a normal day in his life. Retiring at 12 midnight he will wake up at 3 to do his prayers, followed by tea at 4 am. Then he would write nonstop up to seven. After breakfast another writing session up to eleven, followed by early lunch. Never any rest post-lunch, only studies and writings. Tea at 4 p.m. was a welcome break. Dinner at 7 p.m. After dinner, no wastage of time, but another marathon writing session till midnight.
