that goes back to the literary magazine's roots 14 years ago, when it was founded in Portland by Win McCormack, who then hired Brooklyn-based Rob Spillman as editor. The bicoastal arrangement worked out fine for all concerned as the magazine flourished and the two locations became cultural centers for everything new and happening now.
