Great Regulars: The funny thing is, I am not so sure

I could have made more of my life even if I had tried. I suspect I would have simply made something different of it. And, for two reasons, I can't regret not having done that: First, I am not altogether displeased with how my life has turned out, and second, I have no way of knowing if a different life would have proved better than the one I have lived.
