Poetic Obituaries: Rosie [Short] enjoyed reading, painting,

gardening, teaching Sunday School, and writing poetry. Motivated by the death of her son, Steve, she started writing hymns in the latter years of her life. Her family privately published ten of her hymns in a book entitled Echoes From My Heart.
