Widely praised by critics, Ms. Wetzsteon's work appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The New Republic, The Nation and elsewhere. She published three volumes of poetry, "The Other Stars" (Penguin, 1994); "Home and Away" (Penguin, 1998); and "Sakura Park" (Persea Books, 2006). She also wrote "Influential Ghosts" (Routledge, 2007), a study of W. H. Auden.
