Poetic Obituaries: [Lillian B. Frankel] later taught children's writing

at the Writer's Center in Bethesda and wrote poems that appeared in such publications as the Maryland Poetry Review, Poet Lore and The Washington Post. In the early 1990s, she won a Maryland State Arts Council grant to write poems about the Great Depression.
