listening to classical music. He enjoyed seeing plays at the Vokes Theatre in Wayland, writing poetry, and reading the work of Robert Frost, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Ogden Nash, and Nathaniel Hawthorne. He also tinkered with computers and took apart and rebuilt his father’s watch and a car.
